Connie Craft Studio was born out of a need to provide myself, my friends and my community with a safe space to meet up and make things.
Having studied visual and performing art as part of my degree, I have worked in education for over 20 years; teaching children how to explore their creativity. Having seen the enormous benefits the arts can have on children’s mental health and wellbeing I firmly believe that adults too should be given the same opportunity.
I am not an expert in mental health
...but I do know that many people just need that ‘me time’. To do something for no other reason than you want to.
